The camping beach has sites that can fit up to eight people. You’ll also find areas for hook-ups and dry camping. And not to worry, sites have bushes between them so you’ll get plenty of privacy.

 

How to go to South Carlsbad State Beach Campground?

The South Carlsbad State Beach Campground is right off highway 5. To get to the beach itself, you have to travel 3 miles south of Carlsbad on Carlsbad Boulevard. Take Interstate 5, exit Palomar Airport Road. After that, go west to Carlsbad Boulevard South. Turn slightly right onto the ramp going to Carlsbad Boulevard South, then merge onto the same and continue for 1.6 miles until you get to the entrance.
